Law & Order Action Group

Is crime going up or down in our area?

What can we do to prevent burglaries?

The Law and Order Action Group (LOAG) can liaise with the Council and Police to keep our neighbourhood safe and pleasant for residents.

We can share information on matters of law and order to improve our community

 

The Law and Order Action Group (LOAG) are a subgroup of the CCCRA.

 

The aim of LOAG is to help make Charlton Central a safe and friendly place to live and work by:

· providing a forum for residents to network and share concerns about issues of law and order;

· provide a mechanism for collating residents concerns about law and order;

· establish links with local agencies/services (The Council, The Police, Housing Associations, Local Businesses and Associations etc.) so that residents concerns can be heard and considered;

· monitor aspects of law and order in the areas and inform residents of ‘trends’ and ‘actions undertaken’ so that we can

· reassure residents that Charlton is a safe and decent place to live.

 

LOAG updates the CCRA management committee of its activities on a regular basis.

 

LOAG also liaises with other sub-groups of the Association on cross-cutting issues (traffic, littering etc.)
